Still need to paint it black and make a brace.

I painted mine, but it's all peeling of from the heat. Get that brace made before it unscrews.

Or breaks the casting.

Don't look good that far from hood, yet one does not want to cut that up either.  Tuck it in more, buy a little smaller size?   Can't decide if I like or not. I put one on a PK I owned and it blew back when on trailer unscrewing some, had to push up each time to ride. SO, guess they DO need a brace!

If you put a U in the pipe like a drain trap and drill a small hole under the lowest spot, it will drain moisture.
