Anyone have any ideas for or aftermarket source for a GT/Kohler opposed twin muffler?
Long story short. Haven't got around to fixing/replacing my GT19 ignition switch. It fired when I let off the key, backfiring and blowing the end cap off one end.
I'm sure I could repair it, but it's a lot easier to swap it, even though it's a pain to remove and install.

I know if something like this might work but check with local exhaust shop as I remember seeing a Roof palomino at a tractor show a while back, that had true duals coming off the engine and wrapping all way under and had tailpipes out the back. Though this had an older Kohler twin than yours does. (It was a K 482 or 532 series engine) Failing that, I have seen some good used ones recently on EPay.

Ebay or swap meets if you don't wish to buy NEW at a dealer.  If this is out front by grill with sheild over it, should be easier to find. If other set-up, not so sure. Some go off cylinders and forward to muffler on Vertical shaft engines.  Heck, just fix the old one, it fits right, no problem. OR, find good welder to fix it for ya!

The ariens muffler of course is different that some of the other brands.  I have a good used one off of an Ariens GT17.  $50.00 shipped to you.
