Looking very nice, Brian. I like that color yellow too, even though it looks a lot darker and brighter than the original yellow in the "before" pictures (unless it was just THAT badly faded?).

That's not the original color for this attachment though, is it? I'm just curious since I thought usually you are a stickler for painting things the original OEM colors...

Can't wait to see it back together and installed on one of your tractors!

Its close to what I seen on the web, the yellow on mine was all faded out, I think this one spent many years in the sun with the original owner , I dont think it got used much at all though judging by the scraper plates and ripper teeth.

I was notified by a good member here that JD's industrial yellow was close to the gannon but I already had this paint on.

I'm not a Bolens guy but I like that attachment, good job.

Maybe someday I can find one that fits one of my tractors, be handy to have.

I guess when I decide to just show my tractors I can restore my attachments but I use my earthcavator a lot along with other things but I hope when I do get ready you will have a copy of the decals for me because I have none to go off of on mine

Yeah, I have to admit that when I first saw this, I honestly had no clue what you would even use this attachment for!  In the first pictures posed of the Earthcavator before it was disassembled, I had a hard time telling even if this was a front mount or a rear mount attachment!  My guess is that it would be good for grading or leveling off dirt after you just backfilled a hole or trench or if you were leveling off and re-seeding a whole yard or something.  But other than that, I guess I would have a hard time finding a use for this thing myself.  But at least others find it useful and it certainly looks nice all restored and will make a great addition to Bolens 1000's collection!
