Looking great!  Glad to see that metal cleaned up well.  Think you'll have it ready for the fair this year?

Its going to be close thats for sure :D

I still plan on using the attachment for leaves but it definietly needed to be torn down and restored to stop the rotting, there were some thin spots on the bottom but otherwise it was still solid

Is that the same color as the Bolens mower decks? Or are the decks painted lighter green?

Mine was way darker, but it's probable that Bolens painted them to match.
You know how particular Bolens was with their common color schemes...

Looking good Brian. Almost there.
Did you get that sticker straightened out?

This one was light green, it wasnt Bolens green though

I think mackissic switched shades of green as some I have seen dark and the others light, I think mines earlier than alot of the other front mounts you see as most dont have my style decals

No, the painting was done by MacKissic in Parker Ford, PA.

However, on some equipment, they were painted to a certain brand's colors.

Brian is correct that MacKissic used two different shades of green over the years.

Looking nice, Brian! Looks like you got a lot of stuff painted yesterday. Can't wait to see it when it is all back together again and mounted up on a tractor!

Thanks, I Didn't Know that.

My comment on Bolens paint schemes was a little tongue in cheek tho :poke:

All new Spacers and hammers from Mackissic

Put the whole thing together yesterday then noticed I installed the shaft on the wrong side of the hopper, had to take everything apart again to flip it around! :hitting_self_roller:

Everything is done , just waiting on the last decal to come in to make it complete

Going to cringe when I fire it up and grind my leaves in the fall with the new paint !
