I totally forgot about the mower deck, which I fixed before touching the tractor.  I stripped the old paint and rust off (it had red paint under the poorly applied green paint), patched a couple of holes, built a new right hand runner (it was missing), rebuilt the idler pulley, replaced a few rusted out bolts, changed out the gearbox oil, installed a new belt, sharpened the blades and reset them, painted it top and bottom, and applied new decals.  Now to see if the dang thing cuts grass...

Sweet tractor and deck. Did my deck 2 years ago, same as you!! Tractor, well she has engine troubles.(1886-01) Would need a new short block. Looking at a repower with a Kohler 23.5hp sooon, cannot wait, been too long already!! Good job on her.

Great job on your tractor and deck!   It looks awesome. Maybe, just maybe someday I'll do mine.
