Hello everyone, my name's Aaron and I'm new to the forum. I grew up running my grandfather's S-16 and vowed to own my own one day. Well after years of searching on and off I finally found a 15 close to my house in great shape for a good price. I've creeped around the threads a bit and y'all seem like a good group of folks so I hope to hear from y'all. I'll be the one asking 100 questions.

Aaron

Aaron, welcome to GTT. You are off to a great start here. You've got a good story, a good tractor, and you know how to post pics of your treasure. We encourage questions because we are all in this together. Check out our Manuals Section where you may find the manuals for your tractor(3 free downloads per day). Good Luck, Rick

Thank you Rick, I glanced over the manuals but couldn't figure out which one was for me. I also forgot to post a pic of the builders tag. It's model# 53009 43365

:welcometogttalk:

My wife recently purchased a 1970 S-14 hydrostat Gilson.

We are trying to restore it and it was to be done today for a GT show, but Mother Nature (rain) kept the painting to a minimum and it wasn't done.

Welcome, we like pictures and stories. We / I also like the attachments that go with a tractor. Either original or home made. Lots of good information on here and great people. Check out the monthly featured tractor section too.

Nice lookin rig.  Can you remove the side boards and work on the tractor up on the trailer?

Yes, the side's and ends are removable. As soon as I get some of the crap out of my garage I'll unload it into it's new home
