As some of you may of read my post about my wife and I are expecting our third child.  The last few weeks have been rough on her, with the heat, and the fact the being pregnant limits some of her usual activities(or just makes them more difficult).  She has been pretty down and frustrated.  I've been really busy with work, and projects around the house, and of course all the kids daily needs.  She was all upset yesterday when we were texting awhile I was on my lunch break that we haven't had anytime to ourselves.

I called my mom had her go up and pick up both kids and take them out to the mall and dinner(I sure had to twist her arm to get her to do this, not!).  I left work about an hour early and  I stopped on the way home and picked up steaks, potatoes, corn on the cob, peppers, onions, and mushrooms(her favorite meal).  Told her to go sit down, and made a big dinner.

She was so happy she cried and enjoyed her meal.

No real point to this post other than to share something I had forgotten.  That the little things in life such as spending time together, or as simple as cooking a favorite meal for your spouse can make their day!

Shhhhh!  Don't let my wife read this or you'll have two on your hands!  I've been working so much since late last year we haven't even hardly gone shopping together.  I need to take a page from your book and do something for her.  Nice job!  Now, I wonder if she would like a new tractor to play with...

What?!!   She's not still hoeing weeds in the corn, is she? You could at least put down your paper and go take her some lemonade.

Yup the little thngs mean a alot. Time together just to catch up once in a while is good therapy for both of you, especially while she is pregnant. Nice job, I am sure she was very grateful. Thanks for sharing.                                                                                                                                                                         Roger

Better stock up on  some pickles and ice cream---save you a midnight trip to the quick mart

I said that the whole time my wife was pregnant with my son. He popped out 10 seconds old. I'm standing beside my wife as they are looking him over and said "darn I can't deny him kid looks exactly like me" the nurse gave me the dirtiest look I've ever received!

My wife doesn't really have cravings. She just eats at odd times. We always have the rule of no eating passed 7pm. We usually eat dinner between 5 and 6. She sits down at 9 and eats a second dinner.

Your definitely in tune like Kenny mentioned & that's a very good thing especially during her pregnancy. Most of the time it's the little things like you said that make them happy.
