Have changed the fluid and filter.  Lift would not work prior to changing the filter.  Had the two main valves rebuilt.  Still wants to free wheel down a slight grade, almost come to a stop then the hydro catches up and it goes again to do the same thing.  Pulled great on the same incline and level ground.  Reverse works good also.  Linkage pin on the damper spring plate is wore flat on the two sides that run in the slot on the cam.  Any suggestions as to what the problem could be?  Trunnion looks and measures OK.

Looks like there is a little bit of wear on the Trunion Slot.Seen some alot worse looking. You could try replacing the springs.

They are $25 shipped for both springs.

Near the bottom is all of the hydro linkage parts.

Think I would pressure wash off all that nasty oil soaked dirt.Might make it easier to spot what may be worn out.

It will get the washer treatment.  Waiting for the valves to come back from the re-builder.  Got the linkage off and can get at the hydro and tranny a lot better for washing now.  Will check for any loose mounting anywhere too.  Been to darn hot to do much with it lately.  Mid to upper 90"s but cool down on the way - I hope.
