Where in the world is the port to fill the transaxle on a 400?

On the 1982 400, the tee on the rear end with the plug is in fact how you fill the hydro. Here's a photo:

In the center of the photo you will see the silver plug. While you can pull this out and fill here, it is slow, tedious and messy. What I found was best to do was to take the flex tube and disconnect from the top side of the hydro. Then, get a quart jug and put a 'nipple' from a quart of 80-90 gear oil. It will fit in the tube and then you can squeeze in the hygard. When it starts bubbling out the top hole that you disconnected the tube from, you know you are getting close to full.
