Getting the cataract in the left eye done this morning and while Doctor Benjamin is in there she is going to put a stint in the tube that drains off fluid to control the pressure in the eye.  She says the stint is the worlds smallest implant.  Go back on the 27th to get the right eye done.

Watched part of the YouTube video showing the process but couldn't get through the entire video.  Just something about surgery on the eye that is scarier than even the total shoulder replacement procedure.  Good thing is the operation is supposed to only take 15 to 20 minutes.

prayers all goes well!  I'm an odd duck.  I can watch them sew up a cut on my arm, draw blood, whatever may be the case, but when it comes to my eyes or mouth, I can't handle it.

I had a piece of something stuck in my eye a couple years ago.  they took a syringe and sucked fluid off my eye to draw the material up in it.  I felt bad for the poor nurse, she had to sit on me to get me to stay down.  She was a tiny little thing, but strong as a horse...

Surgery went fine..At the follow up appointment today i had the left lens taken out of my glasses and except for a little bit of a blur I am at 20-30 in that eye a big improvement from 20-50 before the surgery.  Other than a little pain that feels like having watched someone weld without a shield all is good.

Thanks.

Glad the surgery went well.

I'm going to take this moment to point out to every one that I had the perfect set up to say something about rodeos, and I didn't take it. Yes, I'm proud of myself.

Glad everything went well for you. Have you had a shoulder replacement. I've had both of mine done a little over a year apart.

Harrumph! What, are you a mind reader? I didn't say anything; you did. You said she was a tiny little bare back rider.
