this Sat.a guy is coming over to look at my 317's . last Sat. i found a 400 with a new engine but has a very bad oil leak and has been in the barn for 5 years so not sure if the engine will even turn over . if i get what i want for my tractors i will get the 400 :dancingbanana: . i know i shouldnt have said anything because every time i get my hopes up the deals fall through . wish me luck

I hope that everything works out for the best Gary! I've found that even if I don't get what I think I want, I usually end up with something better down the line.

Gary, good luck in your endeavors. With the 400 sitting so long, be sure to check all wiring connections. Be sure to look for mouse condos.

Gary, good luck in your endeavors. With the 400 sitting so long, be sure to check all wiring connections. Be sure to look for mouse condos.


I read that as "mouse condoms"...probably don't need to check for those.

Good luck Gary, I took the mice that I have here to family planning, free govt. issue birth control pills! The 400 s are a sweet machine, what it lacks in turning radius it makes up in a smoother ride!
