It finally rained today, we got a slow rain from midnight to about 8AM, then a big front blew in and we got another 2" through the day. The sun was back out by 4PM, but I think it will knock down the chance of grass fires around here for awhile. Thank you GOD, we needed it badly.....

It's the first rain we have had in over 2 months..

Brian, glad to hear it! Hope you get 2 or soaking rains instead of all at once.

What kind of rain dance have you been doing?

I just PRAY that it stops raining when it gets to the TX., LA. border.. The states East of us don't need a drop more for a few weeks. The highest levels of the Mississippi haven't even made down to the lower 2 states yet. The flooding over there could be some of the worst ever.

Brian, soon as I saw the title, I knew you had rain! So glad you guys got some relief. I've been planting corn like a madman while it finally dried up enough here.

Well, we're sending them a little more today via the Ohio river. It's not a lot this time though.

Glad that you finally got some much needed rain Brian! I wish I could send you some of our excess. It has been a very cold spring so far here and now it rains at least once everyday. The farmers around here haven't even had a chance to get a good start on corn planting with all the wet weather we have had.
