I was at a flea market and this woman had a couple of old chrome spoke steering wheels. The ones with walnut rims like they used to sell at Kmart. She wanted $40 for each. Now these were all pitted and rust stained. The wood looked like he always drove the car with greasy hands. I wanted one to put on a GT. How much are they really worth?

Sounds like they were ditch fill.  If they were nice 40 doesn't seem too bad of a place to start negotiations.

Have the adapters and horn buttons with?  Those are always extra on new ones.  I used to have and loved the wood wheels. Seems a bit much for one's not cleaned up or greasy.  Not sure about now with Chinese in them, but those were over $100 new without horn kits.  The Golf-cart places have many wheels for carts that are pretty good prices, might want to look around on those.  More likely to have correct adapter for a GT also then. Not sure how you can clean grease out of the wood easy of if at all even.

No, nothing with it. Another dealer had a new in the box wheel with a leather grip for $85.

Not worth much,,nice Grant wheels can be had for $40. Anyone scrapping boats in your area? Boats are a good source for smaller steering wheels.
