Well, I made it to KC, but didn't get to meet Chuck in Mt Vernon. Thought I had put the piece of paper with his cell # in my billfold. 56 miles from there I went to get the # and it wasn't there! Must have left it on counter at home. battery is shot in this laptop, so couldn't retrieve Chuck's number till I got to this hotel in KC.
Several cars stuck in the mud along the interstate from yesterday's snow. Drove through a little rain today, but not much.
Sure is gonna be a long 3 days. Rather be at home than these dairy meetings, but someone has to do it I suppose. Rather be at home working on tractors!

This wireless connection is pitiful, so I may not get to post much more if at all. If it doesn't get better, I am asking the hotel to cancel my 2 days internet I've paid for. These posts I've made have taken forever to get through.:mad2:

Good to hear you arrived okay. Hope your Internet connection improves for you. We had a couple inches of snow hear, but roads were fine. Good thing because, like you were telling, anyone who got off the road would have been stuck in the mud!

Sounds like you have a little bit of an adventure going on. Hang in there and hopefully the connection improves or they give ya your money back. This is your last dairy meeting isn't it? Or do you have one more yet?

Better speed this morning! Now my speed problem is this smaller keyboard & my big fingers. Last overnight meeting for the year! Be rolling home Wednesday morning.

Just got off the phone with Mike (oolagahan). Much enjoyed speaking with ya Mike! Hope we get to meet later in the day while you're in KC. Sure would be more fun than these bland meetings! Gonna try to meet Chuck for coffee on Wednesday on my way home. Was thinking of dropping out of these delegate positions when my current spot runs out, but if I keep getting to meet fellow tractor guys, I'll just have to seek re-election!!
Gotta jump in the shower...morning meeting to attend.

Guess things didn't work out for you today to meet up Mike, but was good speaking with you on the phone. Maybe this July when you're in Louisville, we can meet up then.

Mike, my cell is always near dead when I go anywhere, but my fault, not the phone's. When I came out here is the 1st time it had a full charge when I left out the door. lol I only have an AC charger, so I bought a 100 watt inverter at a B&Decker outlet for $8 on the way to my Atlanta dairy meeting. Should have bought a 200 watt as this one won't run my laptop. Will charge phones & the like though.
Miserable most all night with sinus & woke up with it still hanging on. :(
