Recently acquired an old Bolens ST 125.

I had some work done to it blades, deck level and tune up ect. Got it home and put it to use.. Worked great all day. I had just finished a little yard work and had parked it to unload a garden trailer, when I fired it back up and put it into gear it wouldn't engage, neither forward or back.. I got looking at it and noticed while still sitting on it that on the rear left side ( opposite the gear shifter) that the axe was simply spinning inside the wheel. I am some what mechanically incline but not familiar with small lawn tractors, and insights to the problem or how to fix it.

:welcometogttalk: :camera: Something is stripped/broken. Woodruff key maybe. Not familiar with your tractor. The experts should be along shortly

Welcome

There is a  square keyway holding the wheels in place, I'd start with that and see if it broke

Yeah, I'd pull off the wheel and see what things look like in there
