I have a 1978  1614 Power King that was making a lot of noise in the left rear wheel  bull gear housing.   Inspection shows I need the bearings and seals for the brake shaft on top of the housing and bearings and seals for the large shaft with the large gear on it. Can anybody give me the part numbers for these pieces. I tried looking up the numbers from the parts manuals but apparently after almost 40 years those numbers have been superseded.  Thanks, Dave W.

Check the Shafts before buying anything.

These are direct contact shafts/bearings..   Most times .. if the bearing is shot .. so is the shaft.

I'm working on rebuilding a 1956 PK and I think the large 1-1/2" axle bearings and seals are the same. The brake shaft bearing and seal may also be the same. Here is a list of the part numbers.

Inner axle bearing; Torrington or Koyo M-24201
Outer axle bearing; Torrington B-2420
Outer axle seal; National 450063

Outer brake shaft bearing; Torrington B-1012
Outer brake shaft seal; CR 6204

My rear axles are pitted where the bearings ride on them, so I'm replacing both axles with a very good condition used pair. You can see the pitting on the old axle in the pic.
