Today as we enjoy being with our family's and friends at party's and such take some time to reflect upon those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom and always remember to thank a vet

And don't forget to attend one of the local memorial day services at various places.  Most are sponsored by Veterans.  Not a more beautiful sight than a long row a flags lining a drive at a cemetery.

To all the Men and Women who never made it home, we remember and are humbled. Thank you.
To those who were lucky enough to come home again, thank you for your service and for telling your stories.
Those stories not only honor the fallen servicemen but help the next generations understand.
It is the remembrance of the horror of war that is the best deterrent of it.

Thank you to all the men and woman who served and those who gave their all for our country

In a world now focused mainly on instant gratification, we need to take a step back and remember our history and what makes this the best place to live on earth

Today is to honor the ones lost. 11NOV is to honor all who served. I graduated High School in 1969. The classes before me each lost guys in nam. The first from my class to die in nam was LCPL Bill Miesel USMC. He hadn't even turned 18 yet. By the summer of 1971, six had died and about a dozen were wounded.

In my 29 years in the green machine, I was exposed to alot of religions and thoughts about life. I've come to believe(and hope) that when we think about people that we've lost, alittle of them still exists. Remembering and honoring may do alot more than we think. Never forget. Rick
