Indy 500 is on, lots of wrecks already.  Not really watching, but Wife had on in kitchen to just have it, like any Hoosier would do!  I'm playing in garage again, finally got some good things going on, then BBQ later today.

Not an Indy car fan. Got the ACC baseball championship on in the background while washing my truck. My Tigers are up by a whole bunch at top of the fourth. If there was a ten run rule, the game would be over.

I'd find it a lot more interesting if they were using cars from the 30's.

Great race!! Was glad to see the rookie win. I live 15 minutes from the track so we usually stay in and listen but got to watch this year thanks to the sell out.

Didn't catch the 500 as I had to get the lawn back down to a reasonable height.  Was still to wet and wheel tracks didn't pick up well at all.  Need to spray for the white clover.  Takes twice as long to mow with that stuff in it.

I bet NASCAR has a hay day  inspecting that 78.  Have never seen such a dominant car in all my years of race watching.  Glad to see Martin finally win one.  Now look out boys, he is coming after the title.

Watched the last 50 or so laps, good race. I suppose someone is going to get a good tongue lashing for that wheel coming loose after a pit stop. Big crowd this year.

Even though I hate working on my cars now I'm still a car nut. I enjoy Nascar & watch the 500. It was good to see a rookie taking a risk for fuel then winning coasting across the finish line.

I'm not as involved in Nascar like I use to be. It's hard keeping up with car, driver & who owns what anymore. Been a Joe Gibbs fan since Bobby Lebonte days with the Interstate car & Jimmy Johnson with Henderson. A lot of politics these days that spoil everything compared to how things use to be.

Now days I'm mostly for the under dogs that really need a win in their life for the real reasons of getting somewhere. It's good to see the tears, excitement & the joy of winning on people's faces that were not expected to win. Sorry about ranting but it was good seeing yesterday's winners.

But unlike when he was a in NASCAR, he only took himself out this time.

My wife was sick so I could use that for an excuse to sit on the couch more than usual Sunday! Was a cool way for a rookie to win Indy, and my wife's Uncle got to go with his son so we were looking for them in the 350,000 people there! NASCAR's my main deal ----and my team won! Dominated! I pull for Furniture Row Racing since they aren't that far away. We toured their shop a few years ago soon after the first win. I wavered a bit when they went to Toyota, but it's business and it helped their program. It's always good when one of the small teams can win much less dominate.

I did have to go to work Sunday morning for a few hours and heard Louis Hamilton won F1, didn't catch any of that.

I feel the same way.  I watched Nascar for years, back when I was a kid I remember rooting for the number 3!  I watched the race he tragically lost his life in.

But over the years it seemed that politics, money, ect crept up and swallowed that whole organization up to where it's not even enjoyable.

But to the topic at hand, I'm not sure I have ever really watched any Indy Car racing.  I like watching World of Outlaws sprint cars, and will enjoy a local dirt track race from time to time.
