I'm sorry no one has been able to help you out.

I'm not up on the S models.  There is a guy that had a project to record all the Speedex SNs he could get hold of.  He had a lot of the production records going through the mid seventies.  I haven't heard anything on his project lately, but he might be able to help you out.

His web site is http://www.speedextractorarchives.com/, his contact information seems to be missing from it currently. Try contacting him at info@speedextractorarchives.com

I'm assuming that those numbers are from the B&S engine. My understanding is The 24 means it is a 24 cu. in.(10 hp ). The 65 in the code tells that the engine was built in 1965. If that is the original engine it would be an S 24 probably made in 1965. The serial number should be stamped on the RHS. frame rail below the engine. It would be 3or4 numbers plus a letter. If is the letter G it would be a 1965. Hope this helps.

Some of mine are on Left Hand frame rail, AND, don't always show good until you remove some paints that maybe have been put on in past. Have seen most on outside surface, but some were on top surface was told. Is there NO decals on tractor?  Usually an S24 in a circle near front sides. Post some pix like mentioned, including the trans and rear.  Some S-24's had same round hood as smaller ones, yet some had the later Barn Shape hood, much better looking.
