I have a 184 Lowboy that has a bad fan bearing..So I ordered a new bearing for it..but..while trying to press off the pot metal mounting cross from the old bearing I broke it..I have looked all over the net for another one with no luck.Anyone have one laying around they might part with?..Mine is made like #2 in this diagram.

Don't you just love presses and poor methods breaking things???  One of first times using a press, I broke a cast pulley on a rare engine, very hard to find. Got profess help getting that pulled and pushed on again.  There is a fella that deals in just parts for this line of tractors. Name doesn't come up now. Has a web site and all. Darn!  He has yard of these Cubs, sells parts.  Maybe someone else can recall?  Maybe a Google search?  He was even making some grill parts and little things for earlier models.  Did you try a Case/IH dealer? Older one might have old parts still around? Good luck.

Looked like someone has changed the bearing before(or tried too) and tried to beat this piece off with a hammer..one ear was JB welded on and it already had a crack..the press pretty much finished it off.
