condition: good
make / manufacturer: Bolens
model name / number: Ride-A-Matic

Vintage Bolens garden tractor with single bottom plow. Mfg. in 1962. I am the second owner, it was purchased new by my father in '62. I have all the original manuals with parts lists. It has been garaged the whole time. The tractor is very strong and has run it's whole life. There was an issue with the coil which has been corrected, but there is an issue with the carb. that has not been solved. It comes with a single bottom plow. It has a Kohler engine and all four wheel weights. Great find for collector, would like it to go to a good home. The price is $ 1,000.00 or best offer.

A very nice tractor - a 53-year-old survivor in great condition.

I would gladly pay his price if I won the Power Ball Lottery, but I haven't.

The ad does say "or best offer."

Not the prettiest Bolens. No attachments, just a single bottom plow?

Nice looking machine , are those headlights factory ? I guess if your going to buy a tractor to collect the price isn't out of line . Myself , I buy to use so for me too high ,I see some of the restored tractors here on GTTalk that I'm sure cost more then $1K to restore ,

Great looking survivor!.

I have to say that he's not all that outrageous on the pricing, and the OBO says he's willing to "get down in the mud a rassel about the price".  :D :D :D

Having all the shields is a plus.

The optional headlights, wheel weights and single bottom plow all add value as well.
