Very clean HT23. You will love that Beast with the high/low range once you get it all squared away. I couldn't believe how well my HT23 did at moving stone, and snow. It was a very close comparison to my newer SCUT with 4x4 which is pretty amazing for an older 2 wheel drive tractor. I sure do miss mine!! Some day I'll buy another LF.

I can immagine, the 1455 I own now is actually enough, but I wanted one of these, and believe me, as long as its in my possession, its gonna have an easy life!;)

Looks like a well cared for HT23. Absolutely agree on the headlights, it deserves originals.

I probably would leave it be as is, but the fact the led light were installed poorly drives me absolutely nuts, so if Im gonna redo them, Im gonna put it back to the way it was, OR as best I can anyway!

Very nice looking tractor, the HT-23 is my favorite one,had on a while back should have kept it,good luck with it

Thank you Rick, I "hope" I did ok? As stated earlier, Id never bought it had the guy not put down in writing that the engine, and trans were good. Only problems I have are, 1. Starting a new job with a truck load of hours that rotate, and 2. I now own yet ANOTHER non running project!

I guess I was bitten once again. Its kinda like buying groceries when your hungry, but have food in the cuboard. Lol

After I was done trying her out in the video, I went ahead and blew everything out with compressed air. I have a strong suspicion this machine was mainly used for mowing. It had grass clippings in the nooks, and crannies here, and there. Besides, Id hate to lose her to burning down the engine, or worse, a fire.

I guess lawn mowing duty would probably explain the 2 decks that came with it. The plow is in really good shape, so I dont believe that was used much, and overall I believe the HT was well cared for.

I also forgot to ad earlier that I checked all the fluids, cleaned N oiled the prefilter, and put oil down both holes before startup. Once all the oil i put in the motor burned out, the smoke cleared N run good. Im REALLY surprised how easy it pops off when starting it!!

I figured since I had it home I might as well paint it, and put in the correct lights. My buddy wanted the LEDs, so it was a NO brainer. Unfortunately the shmuck owner before me ruined the hood insted of the LEDs to get em to fit, but here yah go!

Btw, close to correct green tint, but metallic, I know it aint right, but hella lot better then what it was blue, and sure as heck closer then Hunter Green !!

Sorry, no legible serial number from donor tractor...fer the lights.
