Picked up another LF today. Not really sure what year it is, but Im confident the B-experts will be along shortly anyway, Needs some minor repairs, but seems to be decent. Came with 2 decks, and a blade. Not much for extras, front, and rear ports thats about it. I really dig the dual range tranny tho. I would love to give it a cheap spray on the frame to get it back to green, and possibly steal the loader off my 1455 for it? It also came with led headlights that were cobbled in, and perhaps should have been installed better, but a switch back to OEM look is what the old gal deserves.

Who knows if, or when this will ever get done as Im starting a new job in 2 weeks, and its southern swing, but, Its mine.

Anywho, not may pics, but here ya go! Sorry, some wont rotate. . .

These are nice I'm taking a liking to the LF. I have a H16 tube frame & really like it...my first Bolens. Good looking package & that green frame would pop.

I saw that sitting on CL for a couple weeks. If I weren't 6 states away... glad to see a someone here got it. Looks really clean and well cared for. Ad said it was refurbished 2 years ago. Is it what the ad said it was? BTW, I agree about the lights. Some guys like the LED bling, I prefer original.

Nice looking tractor

According to my paperwork, the -01 was produced in 1979 and 1980.  With the low SN though, I'd bet that it's a 1979.

Nice looking unit, New seat and some touch up paint, the white is real close to DupliColor Wimbledon White, green takes a custom mix.
Brian, Bolens 1000 has the correct sealed beams

T/y, glad i got it too, and glad I did too, cause I really hated seeing the old gal outside! I was thinking 1980, so I cant be far of?

Very clean HT23. You will love that Beast with the high/low range once you get it all squared away. I couldn't believe how well my HT23 did at moving stone, and snow. It was a very close comparison to my newer SCUT with 4x4 which is pretty amazing for an older 2 wheel drive tractor. I sure do miss mine!! Some day I'll buy another LF.

Its definitely not refurbished, but is in good shape. It does need work, and possibly a starter which wont be fun IF infact it does, but Im glad I got it. Unfortunately, I had to sell 2 off to fund this purchase, but overall Im glad I made the move on it in that respect, but.. I bought this non running, and I never buy anything non running, but the guy swore up and down it runs, in writing, SO, we'll see??

Oh, almost forgot, I payed way less than advertised price as I basically bought a non running machine. I did roll the driveshaft over by hand, and she's got compression, so no reason it shouldn't run, BUT, the other questions are, does it smoke, and/or rattle? Time will tell I guess!
