I have gorgeous weather today and everything I am wanting to do, my hand says "NOPE"! I stretched the tendons in my RH fingers early last month and they are taking their time healing. This morning was the first time I woke up to see some of the swelling going down. So, I guess I'll just have to continue to be nice to it and not do much. Got several threads going that I would like to work on, but just can't. Not a bit of grip in that hand yet. But it's healing. Having so much work the last 3 weeks hasn't helped. Told those folks I'm out of business until this heals.

Hate to hear this Kenny, but do let things heal.  I'm the opposite in a way.  Feeling pretty good, but still not doing anything yet today.  I actually took a nap this morning....the 1st in years actually.  Guess my body needed it!

Since the rain left, my joints have felt better.  Hoping you feel better asap!

I know how you feel Kenny.  I had a total knee replaced the 13th of last month.  Was doing some things around the shop, garden, etc.  Nothing strenuous but at 11:30 I had to quit and take a nap.  Mussels were stiff and hurting this morning- rain on the way for the next 4 days.  Just what I don't need.  Think I will go take another nap.

As we grow younger the body tells us a little louder when it is time to take a break - sometimes it has to yell because we are deaf and think that we are twenty both physically as well as mentally.  Hope you get able to work on some of your projects in the very near future - sometimes a sock on the hand and a bag of frozen peas for a few minutes helps (the sock keeps the skin from getting too cold).  Been doing a small roof project for the last couple of days and I now know that muscles I forgot I had are still there and I haven't been using them lately and they are reminding me of this fact - take care.

Sorry to hear your still frustrated but glad your healing. 29Chevy is right our bodies are talking to us daily but sometimes it needs to yell but we have to listen. One thing I have to remind myself is a backset because I over did something is harder to get over than the actual problem. Take it easy & try to use your brain on some new implements or up coming projects for awhile until your body catches up.

That's what I'm trying to do! I'm usually quite busy doing things. But this has slowed that process down a bunch. At least I can get some seat time in!

Just keep that hand off the steering wheel, it's amazing how much pain those vibrations can cause.

Hope you start feeling better. Even at my age , I don't move like i used to, takes a while to heal and recoup.

Ibuprofen does nothing for me. Get better relief from 2  Bayer Aspirin. Back when it first came out, I was taking 800 MG every 4 hours. Did nothing!

Ibuprofin did wonders for me, but I can't take it anymore due to my blood thinners.  I miss it too!

It finally fixes most daily aches and pains for me. For years I was in this club:

I just want to avoid this one!

Hydrocodone 5/325 is what I use when I have a rough time.  Don't take it while working though...only after work day is over so I can rest.
