Good looking work! Do you rebuild for your own Bolens collection? Re-sale?

Thank you, some parts now are NLA connecting rods for one, the rest are extremely expensive ! I had the good fortune to buy an inventory of parts for these several years ago it was extensive and has proved a worthy investment. My Machinist is 85 and has informed me even with my help he isn't going to do anymore , we will see.

No I keep getting distracted, this is the year of the HT20 ( in my garage) and every one of those Black Beauties have a tractor patiently waiting. Thanks.

Thank you, yes my work is for my pieces ,it seems to be painstakingly slow and between my 40 hr job, Daughter's extracurricular activities, current projects and all the other stuff to keep up with, I'm afraid it would be a back burner. We are on opposite ends of the country as well.

Looks good Kevin - you can add a new section to the museum - "Projects In Progress".  That way the patrons can enjoy not only the finished project but also the dedicated hours and pains taking efforts that goes into bringing back a mechanical work of art to pristine condition.  :worshippy1:

They all look great. There is something so very satisfying to rebuilding one of these K Series Twins. They're big, bulky and beautiful. Makes me grin when a fresh one fires up for the first time.

The small block looks great too. The question is, which one costs more to rebuild...

Those look awesome. It is nice to have something like that sitting on the shelf waiting to go. You do some fine work.
