Guys, I have an issue you may be able to help with? I need either to fix or replace the flywheel, 3 quesses as to why.... Yup the magnets fell off and it won't charge.

How critical are there placement? Do you have to orient them North South?

What a frustrating thing, got the engine all installed only to find it doesn't charge... And it was shoe horned into something that never ever was intended to get one...DOH..

Yep! They should be still grouped together on the flywheel. Just gotta figure out the spacing.

Have you checked my thread here? As far as the stator, both the K341 and the M18 use the 237878 15 amp stator. So, yes, they are the same.

No I was just curious is all. Mine actually looks better then Kenny's in his link. Thanks guys I knew I had seen someone on here fix these, i just couldnt find it.

LOL, them sqeeze clamps almost take 2 hands to sqeeze, they really hold good .

Well now it still does not charge... Replaced the rectifier with a known good one too ...
Now im really starting to get po'ed with this magnum engine...and the old man for insisting we use it!! I had a briggs all ready to drop in and he whined and squabled so much i gave in... Now its too late to use the Briggs.. The engine cradle mounts are removed... Oh bother ....
