Is that an auto? The Auto has a pulley on the parking mechanism that tensions the belt. It is inside the belt guard. The stick shifts have a tension pulley inside the center console.

I have one a year newer--'75 model C120A...bought about 11 years ago down in N.C. from a nice widow, after her husband (original owner passed on).

Have not done much to it, but replace front tires, add a set of wheel weights and new belt, and service it.

Oh--I did put a new head gasket on it about 8 years ago--original one blew out.

Also added an hour meter, like would have come on the C160.

Just fixed a little charging problem, which was a little frustrating to find -but turned out to be several kinds of bad wire ends/connections.

I bought a hyd. lift kit for it--but have not installed that yet--still sitting in the original boxes. :deadhorse: One day soon.....

One tough little tractor, I'll say! At least mine is-

Nice looking C-120 you have there...should make a good first Wheel Horse. I have three of these little red machines, a C series of some kind is next on the list of tractors I'm searching for.

I'm going to wait and paint it this winter. I need to get another rear tube for the rear tire.

Also think I will put a riding mower seat on there for now.

I use it weekly moving trailers and mowers around.
