I had a few mice around the shop this winter. The only signs I could find were weird stuff like eating the rubber boot on the pos. battery cable on the ZTR and eating masking tape I used for labels on audio cables. There is a bean field 75 feet from the shop and I think they may have been attracted to the glue on the tape if they used some type of soy based adhesive.

My garage door needs to fit tighter to the ground (on my to do list) so almost everyday I catch a mouse in one of my various snap traps. Recently for the last week I haven't been catching any & the bait is still there. While crawling out from under one of my tractors sometimes with my shoulders it's a two step process...crawl out hesitate then roll over then get up. We'll on Monday I thought I was going to meet Jesus during my roll over step. About 3' over from me laid a rat snake a good 4' long 1 1/2" diameter & not stretched out. Needless to say I got up quicker than usual but as I turned to get away he went behind one of my cabinets. I don't want to offend any snake lovers but I hate these things. Now everything in my garage looks like a snake. Lol By the way feeling a little better I got a mouse this morning.

It's a matter of perspective... Which do you hate more; snakes or mice?

Snakes eat mice, case closed   :D

just glad I'm not farther south with poisonous ones, then I might change my tune a little.

I don't mind either as long as they leave me alone
