Life events regarding The three people she is "Friends" with that she actually knows.
It's hard to focus on just those three people however when so much of what she talks about sounds like an analog TV trying to tune in a digital broadcast

I agree on the Yahoo business. I tried that site a couple of times and didn't feel that it was "user friendly" at all!

I have a couple of Yahoo groups, one on car repair and another for National Mowers.....They get very little action lately. I started them 8 and 13 years ago.

I guess the format worked back then, but is outdated. Everything evolves I guess. The forums are taking a beating these days too I have noticed.....Facebook groups etc are digging into it  ......just sayin'

Yahoo groups are very outdated they were great in the 90's and early 2000's but they have pretty much become obsolete and they are a nightmare to navigate.

Yahoo has failed to keep up with the times.  Even their mail system is antiquated.  Recently the wife asked me to set up some folders with filters to send certain emails straight to the sub-folder instead of her inbox.  In Gmail and other's webmail sites when you set up a filter it will allow you to run that filter against the inbox folder.  Not Yahoo, you have to manually move each email to that folder then going forward it will send email to the folder.  In the tech news Yahoo is constantly in the news on how it is trying to reinvent it's self and they have had several CEO to do this and yet they still have not moved forward into the 21st century.

I quit using Yahoo groups a very long time ago for the reasons stated above.

I got no clue. I hated them back in the day and some are still in use. I like a lot of old things but yahoo groups---not so much!

I agree it's miserable to navigate through it. But I still find bits of good info there.

Yahoo groups where the front runner back in the days of the beginning on the net. many other groups owe their starts to these old school pages. One person as a kid started many of the tractor groups and a few are still on the pages. Why they ever fooled with the format is beyond thinking, as there just about isn't anything left of most, but the pictures. I have a couple but I don't take on any new members, and another one hasn't had a post in the last yr. I think the only reason there stay around is that yahoo would have to give up a space in the market if they closed it all up.

When Yahoo Groups was called "Clubs" they were great.  Then some caullage edu-ma-cated idiot sitting on a board of directors thought an "upgrade" was in order.  Totally destroyed a good thing.

Like Paul Harvey always said:

"Not all we call progress, is progress."
