Well, the title pretty much says it all. There was an Estate keeper with the rotary and reel mower attachments on CL. It was only about an hour away from me.
I called and the guy said he just sold it a couple hours ago after I called :wallbanging:

I feel your pain, but we cannot get them all. Hopefully it went to a good home.

It is hard to keep up on the good deals on craigslist all the time. There are so many people that make a living scouring craigslist and most of the time they are home all day and have the time to keep a lookout. Don't blame em, just makes it hard for us LOL

that stinks doc.. the estate keeper is an alsome machine with a 42in deck an the reel mowers are rare but alot slower to mow with 30in then the 42in but mine is just a show piece. the gk960 took its spot with the 72in an the grounds keeper is one amazing machine to work with. next time your near south jersey you can stop in an get some seat time on it look around i have a few pieces

I know the feeling Brian. I am not always up to date on the e-bay or Craigslist listings but do sometimes find something that looks like a great buy, only to call or e-mail and find that it was already sold. I guess that I will have to just wait and a good buy will come along.

Too bad on the deal. I have had similar experiences on CL. Kind of makes the deals that you do make all the better.

Whenever I call too late, I look at it like "well it saved me some money" and let it go. Used to I let it bug me, but not anymore. But then if it were a rare Bush Hog tractor of a model I don't have.......then it would get to me! Ok, now that I looked at it that way, I feel for ya Brian!
