I bought this tractor last fall for my son to fix up and use to keep his driveway clear.  That did not happen and I have no need for another project since I already have more than I will ever get to.

Asking $350 but open to reasonable offers.  Located just south of beautiful downtown Mancelona Michigan.

The engine starts and runs fine with no blue smoke.  The tractor runs and drives but since the clutch return spring is missing the operator needs to lift the pedal up with their toe to make it move.  I have a cab for it and the frame is good but the stitching on the panels has deteriorated.

It has some issues including the fiberglass on the hood is shot, the right rear axle leaks, the choke knob mounting hole on the dash has pulled out, the clutch return spring is missing. and the snowblower may need new bearings for the auger.

Please PM for more info or a phone number.

Thanks,

Bill

Did you mean  "1978" in title?

If so, that tractor is actually a 1977 model.

Sorry about that, I was going by what the original owner told me when my son bought it.

Thanks,  Yup, still kicking new shoulder and all.  Got me one of those new fangled models made out of plastic and some high dollar metal back in November.  Was told I couldn't lift over 20# with the right hand forever but I already proved the Doc wrong about that.  About back to 90% strength and 80% range of motion.  After about 5 years of pain meds it is good to be able to recognize all 21 Grandkids without the wife having to whisper their names to me and do math in my head again.

Hate to part the Sears out but it may come down to that.0
