I haven't been posting at all and I'm not getting to even check in very often right now. This next month is going to be full both day and night with one of my Daughters graduating from High School with Honors and the other one have a Sweet Sixteen birthday party.  So far we have been to Senior Sports Banquet, High School Band Banquet, Senior Photo shoot taking up most of one Sunday, final 4-H club meeting for this school year. Still have Spring HS Band Concert tomorrow evening, Senior Hero Awards Banquet Thursday night. Saturday is the Final UIL Band competition. I'm not even going to start listing next week.

So far Our oldest, Briley has won several scholarships and awards and I don't think she's done yet. We are so very PROUD of her and all her accomplishments.

So, don't give up on me, I'll be around and post when I can. And I am SO ready for some quality GT time for sure!!

I've seen on Facebook how extremely busy you've been Brian!  It'll smooth out before you know it and you'll have GT time.  But you've so much to be proud of in the meantime!

Wow! If you get merit badges for child rearing, you will have to get one of those girl scout sashes.

Hate to tell you this, Buddy, but the fun is just starting.  We are still busy with our granddaughter doing this and that and she is a sophomore in College.  Good to hear Briley is doing so well and getting Scholarships sure helps out.  Congratulations to Briley!

Congrats to everyone...a BIG accomplishment for sure. I always thought once our kids moved on things would slow down...not with the grandkids. Life is good though. Blessings to you your family.

Yikes! But, you have to enjoy it while you can. They do grow up, and away, far faster than we ever imagine.

Congratulate the kids on their accomplishments, then pat yourself and the wife on the back! Great stuff, especially set against the troubles you all have fought through in the last few years!

This week has been overwhelming to say to least. Briley has been BLESSED and rewarded even more then we ever expected. To start the week off, Monday we attended the SHS Athletics Awards Banquet where she won 1 of 10 SHS Sports Booster scholarships. She played "Varsity Golf" all 4 years and also was named to the "Scholastic All State Golf Team".  Wednesday we attended the Spring HS Band Concert and Awards Ceremony. Briley won 1 of 7 Band Booster Scholarships and then was presented the 2016 SHS Matador Band "John Philip Sousa" Award, which is the highest honor a Band Member can receive. On Thursday we went to the Seguin Education Foundation honoring the students in the Top 10% of the 2016 graduating class, and their Educational Heroes during the 10th Annual Celebration of Excellence Banquet. Briley Named Mr. Steve Vaden, her Head Band Director as her Hero. Steve was also she first band instructor in the sixth grade and impressed upon her that she could be great in band if she just pushed herself.

Also i forgot to mention that one of the Scholarships Briley won last week was the Terry Foundation Scholarship. This was in the News paper,

The Terry Foundation has notified Seguin High School senior Briley McAnulty that she has been selected as a 2016 Terry Scholar. She will receive a scholarship offer to assist with the cost of attending "Texas A & M University". Steve Vaden, Seguin High School band director, Briley, Allison Willemin, assistant principal and Principal Hector Esquivel celebrate the good news.

This Scholarship is a FULL 4 Year Scholarship that pays for everything she will need including expenses!!

I'm sorry if I come off as bragging, but I am bragging because I am SO PROUD of Briley and all she has accomplished in high school.
