I found you could buy Ariens Orange spray paint, but seemed awful pricey! Have any of you found a cheaper alternative, or is it best to just go with stuff labeled Ariens ?

I remember my dad getting a paint shop to mix it. I haven't touched up any orange yet.

If the dupli  color paint is a match go with it,  I found that paint to lay down so nice when applied in THIN coats and a primer sealer used for a great finish.

Dupli-Color makes for a pretty decent finish

AC orange is close enough for me, and easy to acquire.  It's the brown/black on the frame I haven't found a good match for yet.  To be honest, I haven't looked very hard yet.

What do most people use for the frames? Just a semi-gloss black not shinny but a little gloss?

No, I wish!! It's the backhoe for the bx25.

I also used semi gloss for the frames on some of my previous Ariens projects. d7dc5d6b2e629238f9cef20534ab2b21.jpg
