Ad says "tractor found in woods"  I was with him on that that neat find.....Then next sentence is the common punch line kicker "ran when parked years ago"  right then I though I need to take this guy with me when I go tractor hunting is he can tell the history of a tractor he come across that quickly. ESP perhaps? This Ad also has no price ...ut oh someone trying to feel you up a bit before the sale? But anyway I don't want this rusted junk so maybe I will trade it for a working loader I mean after all the key is still in it.

This post was intended for entertainment value only as many of you have sat in your chair reading ads thinking the same thing. I just want to let you you are not alone there are many many others scrathing their heads at the same time you are.

Btw it is a cool tractor the ad just scares me. anyone know what that is my guess is its not an LT

The pictures always crack me up. Couldn't be bothered to take the 10 minutes to cut all the vines off of it before posting?

It's hard to tell what it was; either a home built or a golf course tractor. It is so heavily modified. Toro made something similar.

It's got a Allis Chalmers Radiator and shroud on it. Engine appears to be Allis WC or WD , can't tell. Hood is Toro or Farmall?? Would like to have it. I believe I have an engine that would fit in it. Kinda neat.    Whoa there , I stand corrected that is a REO shroud, but still looks like a A/C motor.                                                                                                                                                          Roger

The hood sales Worthington across the top and then read something or the other on the grill. It appears to have a flathead 4 cylinder that is 12 volt.

Edit:

Hummm turns out it was not homemade

Not that it matters to me but looking at the third picture I'll bet a dollar the left rear wheels don't turn.

Will trade for a working loader--keep dreaming buddy.

If DAN found it in the woods, HOW does he know it "ran when parked"?

That is my question.  How does he know it wasn't pushed in there by another vehicle?

He can tell it ran because he asks Psycic John Edward to come over and talk to it.
