Hello all,

Have a co-worker that has a 2013 21hp(B&S) Craftsman lawn tractor that won't turn over fast enough.

He put a new battery in it, then tested the new battery, its a little weak on the load tester, but should turn it faster. He bypassed the solenoid with a jump pack, and it turned over fine, so he changed the solenoid, but it still doesn't turn over fast enough. He also checked all his battery cables as well...Any ideas?

Thanks,

fedora

I would check for a bad ground, especially if he has changed the terminal connector with one of those cheap ones

Try resetting the valves.

Try resetting the valves.

Yep, I know you said bypassing the solenoid worked, but using heavier wire to bypass may be the reason you got more power. Adjust the valves to .005 and watch it fly.
