This is a tractor at Zagrey farms. It's been there a long time I'm sure.

Tree rings would probably be a good indicator. :D

Did you find anything else? I didn't go because of the rain.

I have been wondering about this.  You see so many old farm tractors like this living outside for 50+ years, many of them still running.

Then a lot of GT people say, don't leave your garden tractor outside or it will die on you.  Even under a tarp

For the past 8 years my gt's have been kept outside under a tarp.  Not by choice just no room.  So i am wondering about the difference between old farm tractors living outside and most gt's that seem to be kept in a garage...?

Is that tractor beyond saving?

Saw it again this weekend. Judging by some I've seen brought back, this one would be a pretty tame resto by comparison. Not saying I could, though. The one tree is on the draw bar.

There's a whole lot less to go wrong on those old girls than on a modern GT. Just pop a can over the exhaust and hope the tires don't rot and she'll be fine parked out on machinery row, lol
