Ain't that the way it goes? Absolutely beautiful until they open their mouth. And they are allowed to vote.

Wow!!! I have nooooo coment on thet one.

I will say, we often get interns I guess you could call them, from the voed classes of high school seniors.
Once they get settled a little bit, we'll ask some basic questions. Nothing hard mind you, not the kind of math one needs to do on a daily basis in a machine shop, first question is usualy just a multiple of 10. eg. "a pound of beef is $1.50 you want to buy 10 pounds how much is it?". So far in the last 6 years, none have answered it without a calculator, and one never answered at all.
Out of those, one of the better ones was looking for parts for his truck, comparing shipping costs , ask me witch side of the missippi we were on.....

I think she forgot to shift her brain into gear, or else the clutch is slipping really bad. LOL Billy, I hope I'm on the side of the river that isn't flooding right now.

"And I believe that like such as South Africa and Iraq and things and stuff...." Poor Mario, he couldn't even keep a straight face. Anyone else miss Slater?

I'll bet if U asked her, she would say the Aleutian Chain is something U use to pull UR car out of the
ditch.

I would like to think stage fright got the best of her, but she's been on stage plenty, so ........ duh!

It was explained to me that she was coached to say something about South Africa's education and try to mention Iraq as well. Well, she did just all at once...

Sad, really sad when y0u think about it. This is why the new cash registers at the local grocery store have a screen on them that comes up with a picture of the cash drawer and the amounts of each coin or bill to give back to the customer for change.

She definitely sounded a bit "lost"! Hate to bash her too much though. I don't really have much faith for true media.
