Today my 1250 needed move so the grass under it could be cut, so I grabbed a battery and hooked it up in the tractor. After a few seconds the engine was running, that was somewhat of a surprise. While I had it running I decided to go for a short drive and let the old girl warm up after a winter nap. I crossed our bridge and tried to climb a small hill but couldn't make it, the engine bogged down and stalled twice. So I turned around and went back towards the garage. Overall the engine is running ok but it really needs a head gasket. I think once that's replaced the engine should have plenty of power. For tonight she is parked under the tree in the last picture, soon I'll decide if I'm going to repair the small things or just sell the old 1250.

Cool looking machine! I like the duals and it has a nice overall patina to it. I sure love that head-on shot; I'm saving it to my computer as it has some much attitude. It looks like it's in a horror movie and was just woken up from the dead and is out to get somebody in a foggy-eyed state. :smilewink:

If I decide to sell it the price will be in the 200-250 range depending on how much I repair. It won't come with any attachments because I don't have any for it and I will be keeping the outer duals too. It's a solid project but needs some minor work.

Thanks, I like how that picture turned out too. The bridge is just wide enough lol.

No attachments, that's part of the reason I'm thinking of selling her.
