Made 3 circuits of the front this afternoon and on the 4th I smelled smoke annd. ..ee36286fbbc2e3fbbfaba96d8fa67c08.jpg

   WHOOPS!!!!!!  I have seen two or three tractors like that, glad no one got hurt there.  that could have ended allot worse than just a melted down tractor.

And a time or two they caught up after they  were parked it in the carport or shed..so ...yea,It could have been much worse.Hosing one off after you cut could save you and your house as well as make the GT look nice and last longer.

Sorry about your tractor.

That just got me to thinking. Being in a chair, what if while I was mowing the tractor started on fire? Can't just jump off and let it burn...

It seems like every few years, there are a few of these. I remember about 4 back, that Craftsman had a bunch of them.. They recalled the tractors and fixed the issue, but damage done.

You might want to contact the mfg and look online at what issues are out there along these lines.
