When you see something you like, you want it...

Well I recently found out about these machines and want one....just not one that's been garage kept. Any condition is fine by me. Willing to travel or pay for shipping to get it. I'm located in Rhode Island.

Just PM me if you have any information on one in or around the north east.

Thanks!

Watch ebay. They come up for sale occasionally. Bring $8K plus restored. $3K-$4K for a project. Usually without a deck. Roof made a couple hundred of these. Based on their Model 60 commercial mower.

See those around IN shows quite a bit. Not Cheap in any means. They also had models with No body, real mechanical.  Any type of Jeep body at the shows are over-priced it seems. Many made their own, but had the metal bending and handling machines to do it also.  Struck in Wisconsin, makers of crawlers, has a plan for a wooden body Jeep you can buy and build from plans. OR, buy in diff stages. Kind of odd mechanicals on it, but have seen those and fellas make changes to them also.

Our dentist in town has one that he used to use to mow his lawn with the kids riding with him.

A good substitute would be a Kimball Hauler.  They don't cut grass...but are fun to drive/use.  I put some miles on them years ago.  I used to work with a guy that had a bunch of them.  He used them to deliver bags of shavings at horse shows.

There is also a Heald Hauler which is very close to the Kimball.

Some pics in an old "for sale" ad...

Parts are still available as well...

Those things are  NEAT

Gonna be like finding a needle in a stack of needles to find one.. Alerting the folks here may help locate one but finding someone who will part with it is another story!

Good luck on your quest!
