Looks like a nice unit. And for what you can restore one for you would be into this one for less

Not a bad price for a nice condition original. It's also a hydro which puts it on the rare list.

That is a good looking unit.
I'm going to call him and tell him to put a cable or chain on that hood before
he busts the bezel.
Massey abuse.:wallbanging:

My 7 has cables.
If you keep tipping the hood as that guy is you will be looking for a new nose piece.

Good eye Will. Didn't catch the pic intil you mentioned it. May someone could message him through ebay and ask him to put a chain on it. While you're at it(VBG) see if he'll take a little less for it cuz theirs no chain on the hood. :bigrofl:

Yes, either a cable or a solid rod, depending on the ser#.

That one is supposed to have a solid rod that goes into the slotted hole on the left side just ahead of the wheel. 4th picture.
And it fastens inside the hood.

Thanks for the help! when i got it, it didn't have one and i usually use my knee to keep the hood (up preventing nose peice damage) when i put gas in and lately been tired of doing so.

You've been to agcopartsbooks.com ?

I looked at the schematics there. I didn't see a knee anywhere.:poke:
