HELO ALL !

I am new here but have been looking around and seeing all the smarts in here.

I am starting a recon of a walk behind and will need as much help as I can get.

I will get model # as soon as I can to ask what I am sure will be a bunch of dumb questions. HAHA

But 1st, How can I tell the engines apart on these ?

I have 2 engines and the one has BS ( Briggs ) stamped right on it the other has no markings .

What is that engine ?

Thanks for all the help.

Mark

Welcome to the forum!

If you can take a couple pics of the engines it would help in identifying them.
Second the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. Everybody here was "green" with gts at some point in their life.

Welcome to GTT. Part of this hobby is digging up info on our "toys". We have a Manuals Section that is loaded with info. Our members are a wealth of info too. Clear questions with good pictures will help you get the info that you want. Then when the GT is working, you get to play with it. Good Luck, Rick

Looks like a Briggs N.  Here is all the information you will need on the David Bradley walking tractors.

WOW Thank You for the site !

The other Briggs that I have has BS stamped on the cover.

Not all the Briggs engines have that ?

Thanks again for your help.

I think just like John Deere and others do today, Sears had the engines labeled for their stuff.

Its funny how hard it is trying to track down the year these things are.

I just feel lucky to get my hands on 4 tractors.

2 I think are bone stock ( 1 has reverse ), 1 had no engine and the other someone put a Briggs 5hp off a snow blower on it.

Thank You Everyone with all your help so far. I'll be back when I get a deeper into them .

Thanks for everything !

Mark

Hello all again.

I got a quick question.

Does anyone know where you can buy a coil for the Briggs engine?

Thanks all for any and all help.
