I like the add on electronic modules for these applications. It eliminates the need for points and condenser but you don't have to ruin anything to do it. Sure is handy for engines that sit most of the time. Every time you go to start them you have to clean the points.

I use most of my equipment once it's finished, also I have had to clean more flywheels than points.
