SO I am trying to get this bolens 1050 straightened out for resale and am having some trouble, got the clutch and drive system all sorted, engine and pulleys are all sorted but now I am having trouble again. has a Wisconsin engine that seems to run really well, Idles great and throttles up ok but the instant you hit the pto the engine just has no power and cant hold the rpms, I have cleaned the carb two or three times and it is super clean, tank is nice and clean and nothing I do to the carb seems to make a difference. Points have been cleaned and gapped correctly. nothing seems to make a difference.
At first I really thought it was a fuel delivery issue but I am now leaning towards maybe a spark Issue ?? anyone have any thought ?? I tried another condenser on there from a good running briggs engine but it didn't make much difference. gonna get a new plug and condenser tomorrow.
