Can anyone help to identify this Gilson/Montgomery Ward. It is a 4 speed, manual lift, variable drive. It seems to have had its lights in the top of the grill rather then the side of the hood. We cant find any serial numbers on the engine and the chassis plate is missing.

It looks like it is from the early 70s. Check through the Manuals Section for the right info. Good Luck, Rick

The engine numbers will be stamped in the shroud. Along the edge by the carb, along the edge on top the head or over around the 4 o'clock position.

Looks like my '73 MW, minus the hydro lift.

I agree with KC. Looks just like it. I do believe that MW had one exactly identical or a few models the same?

Many parts from Gilson and the Montgomery Wards tractors were interchangeable........Gilson made the MW!
