On my local Craigslist is this AC 616... It has my curiousity. Is the hitch really CAT 0? The tires look all wrong... But what is a hydrologic leak??

Those front wheels would have to go.

These tractors are found in the "Farm Tractor" section of TractorData.

I notice TD states it uses an ONAN engine, but see a picture of a Kohler.

Nice larger chassis for a GT, like that.  Would think bigger twin should be in it also, not a single, but that is a good engine if running OK.  Not a great price, but seems worth looking at. Entire paint and fix-up would be on my list tho to be real neat.

As others pointed out, it's missing the original Onan. The right hand discharge white deck is for that tractor, the other is not. The only original rim is the right rear. The left rear is even a different size, bet that's doing wonders for the rear diff.

Rear 3 point is Cat 0.

A hydrologic leak is when you leave the fill cap off the fill neck, it gets water in it, and it freezes. Logic then states the hydro will leak. Hydrologic.

Logic states that he might be smoking something.

Tractordata might be a bit cheeky on the weight? 1,500lbs?  And they have a Bolens HT20 listed at 1,050lbs?

That's with me sitting on it...

Whatever his sins in what he's done to this tractor, he has a nice Sears in the background of one pic.

Which explains how he ended up with a Kohler in it, he's got a boneyard going on there.

The Kohler is going to be a bit underpowered vs. the original Onan twin under a load.
