Hi All,

I need information on a joy stick controlled Garden Mark Lawn Trac.

It is bronze in color and resembles the early Wonder Boy!

The engine is in the back with the same kind of engine hood, too.

Any help would be appreciated.

As it is about to storm pictures will follow later.

Thank You,

Candy

It probably is a Wonder boy. MW bought alot of its tractors from Simplicity and had then rebadged to be Garden Mark. Use the same manuals. Good Luck, Rick

Thank You, Rick.

Here is a photo of the Lawn Trac.

The mowing deck is a different design than the Wonder Boy.

It is nice to have two examples of this GT.

One with the stick and one with the steering wheel.

The tag is difficult to read.

Any ideas on the years they used the stick design?

As I understand the stick control was only 1957 with change to a steering wheel for 1958.

That deck is the standard Simplicity built model with a 24 inch cut.

In 1958 they offered the option of 4.5 horse or 5.75 horsepower.  With the higher power engine a 32 inch deck was offered.

In 1959 the Wonderboy was a regular design, front engined garden tractor.

Awesome find. That is the equivilent to the Wonderboy 450. It came out as a 57 model. Steering wheels didnt appear until 1960ish. The 59s were still stick steer.

I would love to have one of these...I found one near Cleveland but the guy wants $500! Whacko...

Another is in a boneyard near Akron, for $30 but very roached.

I just bought one of these very cheap today to mow my lawn with it seems to work well other than the hood does not fit the exhaust is in the way . Also there is a pulley that seems loose I would like to replace Have you had any luck sourcing parts for this mower?
