64 rambler update. It runs.

Had the motor running this week and drove it out of the garage today. My son, who owns it, had a smile on almost past his ears. He did all the work to it and I helped. Great father, son thing to do. He and I drove it around the block for a test drive. Still has interior work to do, and some engine adjustments to do, but it's lookin like it will be on the road this year. 6 1/2 years to do.

Noel that's sweet! Very nice job on that restoration. When I looked at the photos I thought "someone had done some fine work on that restoration". Congratulations to you and your son on a job well done. That's certainly not a common car and should be a hit at Antique Car Shows if you are interested in that scene.

Hopefully the wife's Challenger comes out that nice, and hopefully it doesn't take that long.

She want's to drive it next month.

That car is so cool. Tell your Son I think he did a great job. Nothing to give away whats under the hood, The wheels are perfect. :thumbs:

I liked the 68/69 Rambler American, yours looks alot like a 66 Dart from the front end close, but not quite.
