Just wondered what something like this is worth. It has a 1985 Briggs 5 horse engine on it and is in nice shape.

Value is somewhat dependent on what it fits.

Is that all you have? no hoses or trailer or bag and platform? If you only have that piece I would say not much I have two that were give me units and as you know the motors are not to hard to come by. Not to be a downer or anything maybee someone will give you a few bucks for it. You may just want to modify it to fit your tractor and have a good time blowing leaves over the neighbors fence with a little spout! Good luck.

Yeah that's all I have. I actually thought about make some useful out of it. Looks like it fits anything as it just attaches to a hole in a hitch.

I picked up a vac like that over thirty years ago. I mounted it on the tongue of a cart. I made plywood sides and front for the cart. The top and back were screens. I connected the out flow of the vac to the front plywood with a piece of stove pipe. I bought the hose and a deck adapter. It made cleanning up the leaves much easier for many years until the engine went on the vac. Good Luck, Rick

imo. if in good running condition ~$100. This looks like the type that bolted to the tractors hitch and a trailer was towed. Then you had to have the deck adapter that mounted to the deck output and a 6" hose connected to it.   Then you had a trailer that the blower blew the leaves/debris into.

Yeah I looked it up earlier. Looks pretty cool with the whole setup but a rather large setup too. It does just bolt to the tongue of the mower then the trailer or whatever you're dumping into bolts to a tongue coming off of the vac. If somebody needs the vac itself to complete a setup they have and are missing the piece just message. I'll sell it without the engine or with. I don't really have a use for it

Anybody happen to know about what time period this may be from? I know the engine is an 85 but that doesn't mean it hasn't been replaced
