And i seen that clay befor god had to replace a dam bucket because of it

Its some good packing stuff..but really heavy and dense..I had a good foot of black rich topsoil on top of it that I had the guy push to the side for reuse.

Sorry for being dense, but is that a two storey modular home? In the UK, that would be very unusual. Most modern houses over here are constructed with bricks and breeze blocks.

Yes thats a 2 story modular home..(My new one is a single story..too old for stairs...hehehe)but they are fairly common in my area..most you cant tell from site built homes..even a few that are single wide.You can have these bricked as well.

few more photos of the mud hole.This is the clay that is to be the new foundation.and I am installing a storm shelter in the slope (it will be on the backside of the house under the deck)

For a very nice top of the line single story new home is about $75,000..Thats a 32x80..not sure of pricing on the two story ones.We opted to buy a repoed home and it was half that price but just like new..so for $38000 we got a big nice house that will be paid for in 10 years.This is the floor plan of our new home.We were also able to pick out all our colors and floor coverings.

Check out this cast iron tub...PO had it installed..Probably cost more than the house did...wonder why it was repoed???
